As you can tell by my photos, mine has been in my collection for quite sometime now. Maybe around 2-3 years? Yes, that long.

Before, I only used eyeliner pencil because it was so convenient and was so fast for me. I wasn’t into wing eyeliner. Mine was just simple, so I was able to live with just an eyeliner pencil. Until one day I noticed that my eyeliner was migrated down my under eyes. I looked like a panda and it was so embarrassing. So from then on, I stayed away from eyeliner.
But few of the beauty youtubers reviewed this MAC Fluidline, so i got interested and bought one in blacktrack. I even purchased two brushes for it. One was angled liner brush and one was a fine tip eyeliner brush. I begun with a fine tip and it was a mess! I was so terrified and shaky as I applied it-beginner u know. Then I used an angled liner brush which made the application much better.
So I wore it to work, it took my make up time a bit longer though. 2-3 hours later I noticed that the liner was migrated on my under eyes again and it was a mess! Panda eyes! I bought and tried the Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner and the YSL brand. (I will feature both of them on my blog next time). It did the same thing! So, I stopped! Completely took out the eyeliner application in my makeup regime.

The Present time

Now that I have started my blog, i had to dug in to my makeup stash. I found foundations which I still do the review series of it. Then I found this pot of liner. I opened it and found that it has cracked in the middle. My thoughts were..this wont be good. I grabbed my eyeliner brush and started digging in and to my surprise it felt soft!. I swatched it on my wrist and damn it was still super soft, it glided on application pretty well and it was still pigmented.

If you had seen my previous  reviews on my foundation rediscovery series. I have worn this eyeliner and to my surprised it held up pretty damn great.

Ok, I had to de-brief. How come in the past I didn’t like this eyeliner? How come it didn’t work for me? Why it kept migrated everywhere? Then, I realised that it was because I had very OILY lids and back then I have never worn any eye primer. I didn’t think the need of it. I never set my eyelids with any loose powder or an eyeshadow colour that was closest to my skin tone. I never thought of those things back then. I was totally clueless! Everything has to be on the go for me. Has to be quicker and easier as I had to travel nearly an hour to get to work.
So there you go now I know the trick!

Longevity:
I would say 8-10 hrs for me

Would I repurchase it?
For now, YES unless I found a dupe from the drugstore that performs and wears the same or even better.
